Dr. Alvin Lin answered

Key ingredients: 1st things first. Brand names like Percocet & vicodin are used to describe various generic medications. Percocet is a brand of oxycodone + Acetaminophen while vicodin is a brand of hydrocodone + acetaminophen. Oxycodone is currently a schedule ii narcotic while hydrocodone is schedule iii (less restrictive) but efforts are being made to increase restrictions (make it schedule ii). All pain killers.
