Calm: It all depends on the cause of the headache. Most headaches respond well to relaxation, quiet and low light environment. Light massage (accupressure) can also be of benefit. Tylenol (acetaminophen) works well for most people if taken as directed. If your headache is chronic or much more severe than usual, you should contact your primary care doctor.

Acupuncture: Dr linnel gave a great response. Chinese scalp acupuncture and ear (auricular) acupuncture can be very effective treatments for headaches. Ensure that any chronic condition has been medically assessed.
