See your doctor: The treatment is dependent on what your eye was in contact with. Was it chemical, thermal, or by sunlight? Was the chemical an acid or alkaline? All these things along with how your eye looks on examination will determine what treatment is best.

Cool compresses: Depending on how the eye was burnt (sunburn or heat burn), you may need different treatments. Usually, the burn will heal over time, but cool compresses and possible antibiotic ointment (if the skin is broken) may help. See an eye doctor to better direct the appropriate treatment.
