Diarrhea and cramps: Probably not related to gall stones as this more frequently causes constipation. There are many conditions that cause diarrhea and cramps e.g. Tainted food, food infections, viruses and bacteria. If you are still suffering from these symptoms it would be wise to call your doctor for advice. Also is your baby ok?

Prob. Not, however..: Gallbladder attacks typically cause noncramping, steady pain localized to the right upper abdomen or upper midline. The pain is often associated with nausea +/- vomiting and may cause diarrhea, although not classic. While your recent episode doesn't sound like a gallbladder attack, if you have had these attacks before i advise you to see a general surgeon to discuss pro's/con's of surgery.
