A member asked:

If i have a rare type of ovarian cancer, will i still be able to conceive a baby?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Need to ask gyn: Since most ovarian cancer management requires removal of the ovary affected and consideration of removal of both, fertility is unlikely after definitive treatment. However, if u have a rare form of a rare cancer it is difficult to answer your question without more specifics. This, i'd have to refer u to your managing gynecologist to answer specifically.
