Usually bet. 4-6 wks: You do not necessarily have to ovulate before your first period after a d&c. 23 weeks would be much too long for first ovulation after a D&C even if it was for treating a blighted ovum!

2 weeks: Ovulation can occur anytime after a miscarriage but 2-3 weeks would be very likely and usually a period will come 2 weeks later.
