ONE beer???: If it's really one beer, pretty much anytime. Would like to know what kind of infection you were being treated for, though. Alcohol is generally not a good thing to consume (especially in larger quantities) when a person has an infection, since it has negative effects of white blood cell activity and production of antibodies. True social drinking (2 or fewer drinks per day in young men) is ok.
