URI: Over the counter medication can relieve symptoms. Your own immune system can resolve. If bacterial physician with use of antibiotics can resolve faster.

URI: Most of these are viral. Any meds you take are for symptom relief. They do not cure you. Your own defense mechanisms do that. If you do not improve or are getting worse you might be developing a bacterial infection and that will likely need antibiotics to cure.

Symptomatic care: It will take7-10 days together better with or without medicine. Tincture of time is the best healer. Symptomatic care like fluids, saline nose drops, humidity and tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen will help.
