I'm 25 and fairly healthy but i sometimes have random sharp chest pains with no prior symptoms. what could cause something like that?

Stitch: The lining of your chest cavity rubs against itself as you breathe and from time to time the layer doubles over on itself. Most people don't know this but it's the truth. Inflate your lungs as much as you can and you should get relief. It's harmless unless it doesn't go away, in which case you worry about spontaneous pneumothorax.
