See below: Unfortunately, abdominal pain can't easily be diagnosed online. If you're able to keep fluids down and your fever under control, you should be fine. If not, call your family doctor.

Severe ab pain = ER: Possible causes of upper abdominal pain: bile duct inflammation; gallstones; cancer; angina; heart attack; pneumonia;shingles gastritis; hepatitis; kidney infection, stone or cancer; hiatal hernia; pancreatitis, peptic ulcer, pericarditis; liver hemangioma or abscess; fecal impaction; bowel obstruction & injury. It is best to have chronic abd pain evaluated. Severe abdomnial pain = er.
