How long would it take for a bladder infection to spread into the kidney?

Bladder infection: In a normal person, it is very unlikely that a bladder infection will ascend to the kidneys. For this to happen, the abnormal condition of vesico-ureteral reflux must be present. This reflux does not occur in most people.
