A member asked:

Is it harmful to have an incomplete dosage of injections to prevent hepatitis b?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not protected: As is true with any vaccine, if you don't get all the doses, you don't get all the protection. The danger in not being properly of fully immunized is that you are then still susceptible to that particular infection. If you had some doses, your risk of infection decreases, but full protection only occurs with completion of the series, and for some immunizations, routine boosters.
