Coincidence: Not sure if your infection and your new symptoms are related. You did not specify what is infected and its location. So it's hard to give a good answer.

Call doctor : Contact the doctor who prescribed your antibiotics to see if you can add an antihistimine. It sounds like you may have a sinus infection. Drinking a lot of water can also help thin the drainage and buffer your throat. Try those good old remedies: chicken noodle soup, tea with honey and bedrest.

What's infected?....: That you need to be on antibiotics? Talk to the doctor who prescribed these for you to determine what the cause is and if the treatment regimen needs to be altered or changed. If the reason for antibiotics is a tooth problem, then the dentist needs to treat the cause, not the symptoms. Possible need for root canal treatment or tooth removal. If sinus, see otolaryngologist (ent doctor).
