Yes, you could be!: If you cannot feel your iud strings, go to your doctor and have them examine you. If the strings are not visible, it may be that the iud has come out. It could also be that you are pregnant: an enlarging uterus carries the iud up inside the uterus! . (perforation of the uterus is a small, but present possibility also.) a pregnancy test and pelvic ultrasound are your likely next steps. Good luck.

Possible: Please take a pregnancy test. And if you used to feel the string but can't any more see your doctor and get this checked out.
