Check your strings.: Squat down on the floor, tilt your body forward, and reach inside the vagina as far back as you can - until you feel your cervix. If you can feel the iud string (feels like a fishing line), you're probably ok. If you cannot feel it, see your doctor. She/he will be able to see it easily with a speculum - provided it's still there. If not visible, an ultrasound is a logical next step. Get checked.
