Veins and frenum: Sounds to me that you just discovered your sub lingual veins an your sub lingual frenum both are normal anatomy. The tissues under the tongue is fairly transparent and you can see much of the underlying tissues. The frenum is a muscle attachment. It should tighten when you stick your tongue out.

Normal: The blue lines are veins. The hanging tissue is muscle. Don't worry!
