Better be just right: Not being facetious or Goldilocks, but your bed should be the height that allows you to get up with the least effort. If you are using a wc, for example, I would guess it should be exactly the same height or just a tad lower. You may have a state or local arthritis association that could help advise you most knowledgeably about this kind of question, which is a good one!
