Joint pain: The area you are describing sounds like it involves the area of the temperomandibular joint(tmj.) in most cases, the pain and discomfort associated with TMJ disorders can be alleviated with self-managed care or nonsurgical treatments. Usually limiting motion and an anti-inflammatory regimen go along way towards helping pain that occasionally occurs.
