Allergic reaction?: Good morning, a combination of itchy nose, swollen eye lids, and sore throat suggests an allergic reaction to inhalant allergens. Antihistamines such as Claritin (loratadine) reduce allergic reaction; eye drops such as visine help to relieve congestion of the inside of the eyes, and decongestants such as sudafed relieve the congestion; advil relieves the pain related to these.
