A member asked:

Are there antiemetics that do not need prescription to get?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Emetrol, Dramamine (dimenhydrinate): Emetrol, dramamine, (dimenhydrinate) and bonine are all otc meds with some antiemetic effectiveness. Dramamine (dimenhydrinate) and bonine are motion sickness meds. They work a bit better than emetrol, but they cause drowsiness. These are fine for nausea, but if you begin throwing everything up you'll need something you don't have to take by mouth. For that you'll need a prescription.
