Lower: Conception rates steadily decline after 29 yrs, at 40 they are less than half of those in their 20s. The miscarriage rate is also higher at 40, being almost 30%. If you have not gotten pregnant after 6 months of trying, please see a specialist as each month may make a difference in your 40s.
