Time to see ENT: I would recommend a complete head and neck exam by an ent. Sometimes people start to feel lumps that were always there, so compare to the other side of your neck. If the lump is there and painless, we need to rule out a tumor. A good exam and sometimes a needle aspiration biopsy are necessary. You're at increased risk if you were ever a smoker. Go get this checked out.
