Hair loss in teen: Most of the children that i see with the complaint of excess hair loss are actually normal. Clean her brush daily, and count the number of hairs that she loses each day, then take this information to your doctor. Is she developing bald spots? Has she recently been ill? Tight braids/weaves? On any medications? There are many factors that go into an evaluation of this sort.
