Yes: Everyone should get a flu vaccine annually to reduce the risk of influenza, and to help stop the spread of influenza to more susceptible people. The exceptions are children under the age of 6 months, or a documented severe allergic reaction to egg, or recent guillain barre syndrome. The nasal vaccine (eg, flumist) can be given instead of the injection for people 2-49 yrs old who are not pregnant.
