Lower cancer risk: Encourage your son to have a healthy life style, wholesome diet, lots of fruits and vegetables especially cruciferous family, berries, pomagranate, walnuts, grass fed meats, wild salmond, sardines. 8 glasses of water over 24 hours. Do not smoke and limit alcohol consumption. Many are helped with supplements of pygeum and saw palmetto daily.

Not likely: While a low fat diest is a prostate healthy diet, it is unlikely that your son's psa level was elevated simply due to diet. There are a number of benign reasons for a psa to be elevated (including asymptomatic inflammation and bph) , so make sure your son has been seen by a urologist to make sure that his evaluation is complete.
