Uterine contractions: "Fluttering" in the lower abdomen may not be from the uterus, but could represent small bowel contractions. A " period seven days early" , if normal in other respects may just represent early ovulation, and a period regularly follows by 14 days. If pregnancy is a concern, get a serum HCG test to make certain. See your gyn for an exam if symptoms persist.
