Options: Many things can cause this. Gi problems, spinal problems, muscular problems, pelvic problems. I would monitor your sptins and see what makes them better, worse, and when they occur. Consider food habits too. Then talk to pcp if no better after rest.

Back pain: Often degeneration at the lower levels of the spine can cause you to have 'peri-pelvic' tenderness around the hips and abdomen. A good evaluation and maybe x-rays and an MRI of the lumbar spine can give you an easy answer. Good luck!
