Migraine phases: Migraine is not just headaches, as there are pro-dromal periods of malaise prior to the pain, and about 24 hrs of post-dromal symptoms, which could include paresthesias, such as pins and needles. Best approaches are to stop headache asap with a triptan or prevent the headache period. Work with a headache specialist.
