Depends: The fee will be dependent on the dentist. Composite veneers are applied directly to the tooth and can be done in one appointment. Lumineers are used as "no preparation" veneers and are made of very thin porcelain. They work in a well planned case and can look very nice. Make sure you understand which may be best suited for you by thorough discussion with your dentist.

Dentist not material: Although it depends upon the individual dentist, composite veneers are generally less expensive than porcelain veneers. Lumineers are merely a brand name of porcelain veneers that are highly marketed. Porcelain veneers have a more natural look and higher shine, with less chance of staining. More important than the materials used, is the skill and experience of the dentist.

See answer: Lumineers are a veneer made to go right over your existing teeth. They are usually made of porcelain but if not used in the absolutely perfect situation the teeth can end up looking thick and opaque. Bonding is a material applied to your tooth while its soft and then cured to make it hard. It also has limitations but in the hands of an experienced cosmetic dentist, there are more options.
