Does put vaseline all over your face make your skin softer?

Yes but...: Vaseline sits onthe surface of the skin. It moisturizes the skin by preventing water from evaporating from the surface. Vaseline works well for some people but in others it can occlude the oil glands and cause acne. Other ways to soften the skin include hydrators (e.g. Hyaluronic acid that binds water inside the skin) and squalane which fortifies the natural lipids in the upper layers of the skin.
