Are composite veneers the best choice for whitening teeth with enamel loss?

Depends: There are a lot of factors that go into determining which option is best for your situation. Composite veneers are one option as well as porcelain veneers, crowns, etc. Your dentist needs to evaluate your particular risk factors & your bite to determine which would be best for you.

Yes: Depending on the severity of enamel loss, but composite veneers can be a viable treatment. I prefer porcelain veneers due to their superior look and longevity.

Maybe: Ask your dentist what material works best for them and will be best for you.

Only if ...: Composite bonding is an excellent option, only if your dentist has exceptional artistic abilities. To make a direct composite veneer takes a real artist. If your dentist is not one, then the lab made ceramic veneers may be a better option.

Depends: Depends on your expectations, and long term goals, be aware that composites do change color and stain over time, they are not as durable as lab made veneers, but with a great cosmetic dentist who layers the resin and tints, and applies opalescence and proper translucencies, they can look just as nice as an exceptional ceramist lab made veneer.
