It shouldn't be.: Molluscum is self-limiting, that is it usually disappears by itself depending on the strength or weakness of your immune system. Often, i see women whose lesions reappear in new locations and this is most likely from reinfection from the same partner. Men's lesions are usually more hidden and harder to notice than in women. If you suspect your partner is reinfecting you send him to a urologist.
