Is it possible for albuterol breathing treatments to cause thrush?

Unlikely: There is nothing in this medication that would bring the yeast germ to you & cause the problem.However, if you use equipment (reservoir, mouthpiece, etc) that is contaminated, the equipment could be a source. Equipment should be properly cleaned & sanitized at regular intervals & changed when they become visibly worn.
