My tonsils are still swollen and it's been a really long time. what should i do?

Symptoms?: As long as the two tonsils are roughly the same size, large tonsils by themselves are not a problem. Sometimes they will cause symptoms (soreness, getting in the way of swallowing or breathing (snoring at night) or similar). There is no medication that will shrink tonsils long term. Sometimes, if the symptoms are bad enough, the tonsils are removed.
