Probably not: Different sounds annoy different people. I'm old enough to remember when the chalk blackboard was the principal method of teaching, and many students were very annoyed when a teacher's long fingernails scraped across it. I have no idea why. Don't try to analyze or understand your personal likes or dislikes, but be deferential to the feelings of others and ask that they be considerate of you.
