Fatigue, paleness: Anemia causes a lowering of the red cell count which leads to fatigue on exercise, difficulty climbing stairs and light headedness. It is more likely if you identify a bleeding point especially in your stools (red or almost black) or notice paleness of your nail beds or eye lining compared to others. Check with your family doctor if this is something you suspect.
