Several: Some patients will be asymptomatic. Others have any of the following: lightheadedness, dizziness, muscle weakness, fatigue, fast heart rate, run out of breath and tire quickly with exercise. If you have any suspicions of anemia, you should be evaluated by your doctor.

Varied...: Symptoms common to many types of anemia (low hemoglobin) include the following: easy fatigue and loss of energy, rapid heart beat (particularly with exercise), shortness of breath, headache, difficulty concentrating, dizziness, pale skin, leg cramps, and insomnia.
