Why would someone need a circumcision revision? what happens during that?

Circumcision: Cicimcision revision is sometimes needed to release adhesions between foreskin remnant and the glans penis. This can happen if inadequate amount of foreskin is removed initially.

Seldom required: In kids. Should be done if there is secondary phimosis or area of shaft skin is fused to glans, this is penile skin bridging rather than the very common penile adhesions. Needs not be done just for excess skin left behind in child's circumcision because he will grow into it & will look normal by puberty. Very common request in my practice & seldom necessary, i.e. Unnecessary cosmetic procedure.
