Pls can u advice of name of any cough serups that don't upset/effect stomach, chronic cough, my dr gave me mycodyn and it messes up stomach?

Honey: While Codeine is probably the best cough suppressant it does cause side-effects in many patients and can't be used. Dextromethorphan can be tried (dm) or a teaspoon of honey may help. It may be better to diagnose why you are coughing and find a more specific treatment depending on the reason for the cough.
