Fungus: A thick toenail with white and yellow chalky stuff under it is most commonly fungus. Go see your favorite podiatrist before it spreads to your other nails!

Possible fungus : Thickening, color changes and "build up" underneath toenails are some of the symtoms associated with fungus. Have the nail check by a professional to rule out other conditions like psoriasis and micro trauma.

Thick nail: As already stated , this is probably fungus . See your podiatrist for assistance as this can spread to other nails .
