Sure: When doctors look for the cause of an allergic reaction (redness, swelling, itching) we tend to ask what is the most recent change you have made. Soap, creme, anything topical that is new is reasonably thought to be the agent of cause. Stop, and see what happens. If your puffiness if large and you are uncomfortable take 25mg-50mg of Benadryl (diphenhydramine) (it makes you sleepy). Good luck!
