Hip pain: Get immediate medical attenion. It is difficult to diagnose without examination and testing. You are only 18 year old. Not suspecting osteoarthritis or peripheral vascular disease. Nee to rule out autoimmune diseases or spinal cord canal stenosis or cord compression etc.

Young hip is tricky: Bilateral hip pain in the young patient can be a tricky diagnosis. A thorough examination by an orthopaedic surgeon that includes imaging (xrays and even an mri) may be indicated to rule out specific diagnoses such as slipped capital femoral epiphysis (scfe) or stress fracture which are managed urgently in many cases.
