I feel numb after being touched by something in my nightmare?

Somatic dream: Out dreams can involve all 5 senses and sensation. The numbness left, is that correct? It likely was a hypnopompic tactile hallucination (which occurs at the stage between sleep and wakefulness). When fully awake, it should go away, unless you have an unusual somatic symptom or a wild imagination!

Sleep issues: People sometimes have experiences called hypnagogic or hypnopompic hallucinations where they may have physical sensations or other sensory experiences. Good thing is there is nothing wrong or broken in the brain. Think of these experiences as if the brain burped and moved on. See the No More Nightmares book
