Abnormal bleeding: The list of possibilities is too long to list here. You need a complete evaluation including an exam. You may also need an ultrasound and lab work. After things such as medications, supplements, fibroids, ovarian cysts, polyps, vaginitis, hormone irregularities have been ruled out-other causes can be investigated. Most commonly, an anovulatory cycle is to blame. A doctor will easily figure it out.
