A member asked:

What does it mean if my hands are turning blue?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Insuffiffient oxygen: Blue hands (cyanosis) usually means insufficient oxygen is getting to the tissue - usually because there is diminished blood supply to the hands. Sometimes this is due to circulation problems, sometimes to pulmonary (lung) problems. Often it is aggrevated by smoking and/ or cold temperatures. You need to see a doctor to determine why it is happening.
