Is it painful to get partials?

Not normally: If the partials are made right, fitted correctly and adjusted as needed, they are not painful. Many peoplwe wear them for years and trhey become a part of them. Partials can be all plastic or plastic and metal, but either type can be very comfortable after an initial period of adjustments and getting used to them.
