Not rare: The first period after stopping birth control pills can be a bit delayed. Were your periods regular or irregular before starting the pills? If they were irregular before, they may well be irregular now. Chart them. If you don't want to be pregnant, choose another method of birth control if you have sex. If you do want to be pregnant, be sure you're taking a prenatal vitamin with folate (folic acid).
