What happens when i don't wear my perscribed eyeglasses?

Blurry vision: Your glasses represent an aid to help your eyes focus clearly. They also lessen eye strain and visual fatigue when worn. Not wearing them for near tasks is generally fine if you are nearsighted. If you are farsighted, without your glasses in you will have more visual symptoms at near and possibly at far. Astigmatism would especially be problematic at far without glasses on and possibly at near.

Vision less clear: There is no harm to the eyes, vision or health of the eyes if you don't wear your proper eyeglasses. You simply will not see as clear or comfortably as you might otherwise.
