Many possibilities: The combination birth control pills prevent pregnancy by preventing ovulation (almost all the time), so you weren't likely having sex on the day of ovulation. Taking them consistently is important for them to be effective. If you've been on the pill for a long time, bleeding can slow down or stop. But to be sure--take a home pregnancy test, keep taking the pill, and check with your doctor.
