I am recovering from the stomach flu. can i get it again? meaning 2x in a row

Yes: There are many types of viruses that give you the stomach flu (gastroenteritis). In addition, there are many different serotypes of a given virus. You can develop immune memory to a given serotype, but that does not make you necessarily resistant to other serotypes. Thus, you can get the stomach flu again, and again, and again from either different viruses or serotypes.

YES: Even the same flu, especially if you are having immune problems. A visit to your md would be a very reasonable thing to do. Good luck!
